President Buhari To Pay Salary Of Foreign Coaches Henceforth

President Mohammadu Buhari has approved a request from the sports ministry that the salaries of whoever emerges foreign technical adviser of the Super Eagles will be taken of by the federal government.

In a desperate bid to put behind them, the ghost of Nigeria’s failure to qualify for the 2022 World cup in Qatar, the NFF in it’s wisdom have decided to go in search of a competent foreign coach for the Super Eagles but in doing that, they had to first inform the ministry of their choice and how they arrived at that decision.

Portuguese coach Jose Pesairo emerged tops despite finished third in the interview conducted by the technical committee and in their defense, the NFF offered that he was chosen because he is the only coach willing to accept 50,000 dollars monthly salary. Added to that, he has also agreed to live and work in Nigeria according to our source

However the ministry seem not satisfied with these submissions and have decided to delay the anmouncement, insisting that Nigeria deserves the very best
