Real Sociedad manager Alguacil Imanol says Umar Sadiq is not close toret urning to full training, but he’s not far away.
Sadiq ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament last September, two games after making a big money move to the club from UD Almeria.
After almost seven months on the sideline lanky forward is back in training, working with the ball.
“Till now, he has not resumed training and hoping to return before the season end,” the coach said during the week.

“It would be very risky to say no, but I wouldn’t say yes either,” Alguacil Imanol reacted to whether the Striker will return to
action before the end of the season.
The forward scored once in his two outings for Real Socieded before his knee injury on September 11, 2022.
