Rock-Solid Super Eagles Defender Seals Maximum Points For Hajduk Split

The action continued on match day of the Croatian Pro League and it was a good outing again for Nigeria’s Super Eagles defender Chidozie Awaziem in the colours of Hadjuk Split.

The former FC Nantes player has been a good acquisition for the Croatian side since the start of the season as he scored in back-to-back games for them from his defensive position.

He lived up to expectations again on Wednesday as he sealed a maximum of 3points for Hadjuk in their 3-1 win over HNK Gorica.

It was Livaja that opened the scoring for Hadjuk in the 2nd minute before Francois equalised for the away side in the 9th minute.

The host was awarded a spot kick in the 59th minute and it was Livaja that scored to complete his brace.

As Gorica was trying to secure another equalizer, Awaziem rose high to nod home a corner kick in the 72nd minute ensuring the full point for the host.
