Roma boss Mourinho shuns Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli

Jose Mourinho has reportedly decided to stay with Roma and will turn down a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli.

The 60-year-old Portuguese coach’s future has been in much doubt over the last few months, with teams ranging from the Portuguese national team to Paris Saint-Germain all linked with the former Chelsea tactician.

Mourinho, who guided Roma to their first ever major European honour in the Europa Conference League last season, has decided to move forward in the Italian capital, not wanting to give up on his project just yet.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Mourinho will meet with Al-Ahli president Walid Moaz next week in London, where he’ll reject a lucrative offer to coach the Saudi Arabian side.

In recent months, the Portuguese coach has also been approached by Al-Ittihad, Al-Nassr and the Saudi Arabian national team, rejecting them all as he wants to continue working at the highest level.
