Manchester United star, Cristiano Ronaldo, has insisted that he will never put his eldest son, Cristiano Jr, under pressure to follow in his footsteps and pursue a professional career in football.
Ronaldo recently branded Cristiano Jr, the โpresent and futureโ, after sharing pictures on Instagram of him and his son playing football together.
The 36-year-old was seen running around the pitch topless while his son, who joined Man Unitedโs academy when his dad sealed a sensational return to the Red Devils last summer, donned the clubโs training top.
However, Ronaldo opened up on his support for his children during girlfriend Georgina Rodriguezโs new Netflix series โI Am Georginaโ.
On Cristiano Jr, 11, pursuing a career in football, Ronaldo said: โOnly time will tell. I will never pressure him. He will do what he wants.
He added, โAlso, what I want the most for Cristianito and everyone else is that theyโre happy and that they choose what they want. I will support him in any way.โ
Ronaldo has three other children, Eva Maria and Mateo, as well as four-year-old daughter Alana Martina.
