Chukwuma displayed her dominance in the race, comfortably finishing ahead of Kalia Jackson from Georgia. Her time stood as the second-fastest overall qualifying time across all semifinals, with only Julien Alfred’s 10.99s surpassing her performance.
This marks the second consecutive year that the Nigerian sprinter has reached the 100m final, having achieved a lifetime best of 10.99s last year.
