Seamoriow U-17 Triumphs in First Test Match After Arriving in Ijebu Ode For A 3 Days Camp Exercise

The Seamoriow U-17 team made a triumphant entrance into Ijebu Ode on February 29th, kicking off a three-day camp under the guidance of Coaches Olanrewaju Olojo, affectionately known as Wenger, Coach Samson, and Coach Kehinde.

Upon their arrival, the team wasted no time and delved straight into its first training session, gearing up for their first test match against Switch FA.

Today, a day after their arrival, they showcased their prowess on the field, clinching victory with a scoreline of 3-1. Opeyemi and Fuad secured two goals in the first half, while a late penalty converted by Dolapo sealed the deal for the Inspired Boys.

Reflecting on the victory and the camp experience, Team Coach Olanrewaju Olojo remarked, “It’s a fantastic start for us. The boys showed great determination and adaptability, and I’m pleased with how they executed our game plan.”

Offering his perspective on the camp’s impact, member of the management and club coordinator; Olayinka Olajide stated, “The camp has been invaluable for the team’s cohesion and performance. It’s evident that the intensive training and team bonding have paid off on the pitch.”
