Serie A: AC Milan history convinced me about move, says Tomori

Date:

Fikayo Tomori has revealed that the history of AC Milan convinced him about moving from Chelsea.

The English defender initially joined Milan two years ago on-loan from Chelsea before signing permanently six months later.

He recalled in the Players’ Tribunal: “Maybe I didn’t feel ready to move yet. Go to another country and all that. Then December came and there was the winter transfer window, I spoke to my agent and at that point I immediately said yes.

“I was already there with my head but I didn’t tell anyone out of superstition. I arrived with my agent, we entered the Milan home and there were all the Champions Leagues, a lot of golden balls.

“I thought, ‘This is a really great club.’ a lot of Ballons d’Or.”
