Italian Serie A table topper Napoli will continue its quest to win a double this season when they confront relegation-threatened Cremonese in the Coppa Italia Round 16.
According to the update from the land of the Azzurri’s, Serie A top scorer Victor Osimhen will not commence the game as the coach of Napoli Luciano Spalletti wishes to give him a rest.
Osimhen was the star player last weekend when Napoli pummeled Juventus 5-1 as he scored twice in the encounter.
The technical crew of Cremonese also confirmed that another Super Eagles striker Cyril Dessers will not be available for the encounter.
Cremonese has never scored against Napoli in three previous Coppa Italia meetings, conceding five goals in the process.
