Under Luciano Spalletti, the value of Napoli’s squad has doubled, a sign of their incredible work on the pitch this season.
The Partenopei currently sit 18 points clear at the top of the Serie A table after 24 matches and already have one foot in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. The team have been electric this campaign and have the right to dream about European glory as the season starts to enter its final stages.
Corriere dello Sport reports that Napoli’s squad value has risen from around €408m last summer to around €800m now, showing how their on-pitch success has translated to the transfer market.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was signed for just €10m last summer and is now worth as much as €120m, and star striker Victor Osimhen has an estimated market value of around €150m. Stanislav Lobotka arrived for €21m in January 2020 and could command a price of around €70m now.
Another example is Kim Min-Jae, who has a release clause starting at €48m. He is estimated to be worth around €60m and only cost the club €19m last summer.
