Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has highlighted the similarities between Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen and Hellas Verona forward Giovanni Simeone.

Osimhen and Simeone were influential at their respective clubs last season and Laurentiis is looking to pair both centre forwards in the Partonepei’s attack.

In an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, Laurentiis stressed that he believes that Simeone and Osimhen will be ideal for the attack of Napoli.

“Simone? I really like,” Laurentiis said.

“We have to see what Spalletti thinks because he is a very good striker , perhaps he complements Osimhen less than Petagna because perhaps he is more similar to Osimhen .

“We don’t have to play 4-4-2 with two strikers . The players must not be offended if they are substituted at some point.

“A game lasts 90′,if we have brought the five changes to the table it is because these five changes must be usable in the most correct way .

“If someone is substituted in the second half he must not feel handicapped .
