Smart City fc Coach, Kabiru Alausa, has said that, he is heavily elated with the kind of display his boys put up against Coal City fc on Saturday, at the Mobolaji Johnson stadium, onikan, Lagos.

City were ruthless against their opponents, as they pounced on them from start to finish with a resounding 4-1 victory.
Monday Emmanuel, Gaffar Ojo, Mamuda Emmanuel and Fuad Ibrahim were all on the scorers sheet in the game.

Alausa, added that, his boys were superb on that day, stressing that, they played to instructions, which led to a fantastic team display, capped with a brilliant scoreline.
“I must commend my boys for a wonderful display, they were excellent in all departments and the team spirit was very palatable too, I give them all the credits for a well deserved victory” he said.

The soft spoken coach, further said that, they will quickly put this Sweet victory behind them and start preparations for the next game, against Abia Comets, while also thanking his coaching crew and the management for their unflinching support always.

“I want to thank my coaching crew for their support and team Spirit, I truly appreciate all of them. I also thank our president and all the management staff for giving us total support always, I want to assure them of good football and excellent results, by the special grace of God” he concluded.

Smart city at the weekend mauled visiting Coal City fc of Enugu 4-1 in a pulsating NNL clash in Lagos. City will travel to face Abia Comets in their next league game next weekend.
