Smart city fc of Lagos, will go into battle against neighbours, Ikorodu utd in this year’s final of the Lagos fa cup.
The game, without doubts, will surely be a battle of titans, as both teams know each other from top to bottom, with alot of bragging rights and pride at stake.
City qualified for the final, by beating hard fighting Future Pros 1-0 in the first semi finals. Future Pros, really gave a very palatable account of themselves to the delight of the fans present at the stadium.
City who were more dominant and purposeful, displayed high level of confidence and maturity, got the only goal of the game, through powerful striker, Dominic Fuga, who nodded home from close range, after Shuaib Hassan penalty was initially saved by the keeper.

All efforts by future Pros Fc to get an equaliser, proved abortive, as city players stood firm to seal a remarkable and well deserved victory.
Meanwhile Ikorodu utd booked a spot in the final, by beating unlucky box2box fc 4-3 via penalties in the second semi finals.
The final will take place at the mobolaji Johnson stadium, in a date to be announced soon.
