Smart City Players Apologise To Management, Fans Over Fa Cup Loss

… Turn Focus To Coal City Clash

Smart City football club of Lagos players has said that they are saddened and disappointed for letting their president, management and fans down in the fa cup loss to Bethel fc and are using this means to tender an unreserved apology to everyone for letting them down.

Captain of the team, Tunde Adejokun, who spoke on behalf of the team, said they are really bitter about the loss and that they are begging everyone that loves the club to forgive them for the loss and that they promise to make them happy with better performances and good results.

“I want to say, we are deeply sorry for the loss to Bethel in the Fa Cup, it’s not in our making to lose such games, all our intentions and mindsets is to bring joy and happiness to everyone involved in the club, but that defeat was a very painful one and we urge our management and fans to temper justice with mercy, and that we will make them happy in subsequent games” he said.

Meanwhile Tunde, said their focus now, is the NNL game against Coal City, and it’s three points we are going for in that game, we want to make our fans happy again.

“Our game against Coal City, is a must win game for us, we are going all out to vent our anger on our NNL opponents, coal city, we will do everything humanly possible to get all three points and put smiles on the faces of our management and beloved Fans” he added.

“We know how very passionate our fans are and we understand their feelings, and we don’t blame them when they hit at us, but they should just be supporting us in all ways and we pray to always give them wonderful performances and good results, by the special grace of God” he concluded.

Smart City will today clash with Coal City fc in the NNL, at the Mobolaji Johnson stadium, onikan, Lagos.
