Smart City Vandalise Vandrezzer In Uyo

Smart City fc of Lagos on Sunday at the Uyo township stadium dealt a bad hand on Vandrezzer fc, as they whipped their opponents 2-0 in an NNL clash in far away Uyo.

City came into the game smokey and hungry for victory, after hammering Ekiti Utd., 5-0, last weekend in Lagos, made sure Vandrezzer got a bad taste of their pills with two unreplied goals.

Graciously gifted Winger Fuad Ibrahim, opened the scoring for city in the second half, after city’s pressure was too intense for the home team’s defence to handle. The goal from Fuad was the tonic city needed to further boost their confidence, as they mounted continuous pressure on their opponents, resulting to the second goal from another exceptional player, Chukwudi Ekeocha who finished brilliantly, to double city’s lead and send the city bench into wild jubilation and ecstacy.

City made sure they kept all three points at stake, as they weathered and defended well, every unslaught their opponents threw at them.

“I want to say, my boys has really peaked and are in good form, I told them to forget the 5-0 mauling of Ekiti, that they should put the game against Vandrezzer in their thoughts and they did and our approach against Vandrezzer was very palatable and the result was well deserved” he said.

“We are all happy about the result, I thank the president for his basic principles of hard work, decorum and envy free life and the entire smart city group for always standing together at all times, we promise to continue working hard for more Victories by the special grace of God” Alausa concluded.
