Super Eagles and Rwanda Share Points in Kigali

The Super Eagles of Nigeria drew 0-0 with Rwanda at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali, retaining the lead in their qualifying group for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. Nigeria’s earlier 3-0 victory over Benin Republic in Uyo kept them top of the group, while Libya needed a three-goal win over the Cheetahs to surpass Nigeria.

The match in Kigali was a tight affair, with Nigeria missing several chances to score. Bruno Onyemaechi and Victor Boniface had notable opportunities, but were thwarted by the Rwandan defense and goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari. Despite a strong performance, Nigeria couldn’t break through.

The Super Eagles will face Libya in Uyo in mid-October as they continue their qualifying campaign.
