Super Eagles’ Osayi-Samuel punches fan as Trabzonspor vs Fenerbahce turns violent

Super Eagles defender, Bright Osayi-Samuel punched a pitch-invading fan, as a Turkish Super Lig fixture between Trabzonspor and Fenerbahce turned violent.

Fenerbahce won the game 3-2, but their celebrations were marred by ugly scenes at the end of the game.

Osayi-Samuel and ex-Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi found themselves in the midst of the unsavoury incidents.

After the win, Fenerbahce players gathered in the centre of the pitch to celebrate.

However, their jubilation was cut short, as one Trabzonspor supporter jumped onto the field to attack them.

Although security intervened, the situation escalated as fans flooded onto the pitch.

Amid the chaos, Osayi-Samuel was seen engaging in a physical altercation with a pitch-invading fan.

The Nigerian international, who joined Fenerbahce in 2021, reacted quickly, landing a punch on the intruder.

Batshuayi also tried to kick another fan in the face.
