The whole team will have to stop Salah, not just the goalkeeper – Akpeyi

Super Eagles star Daniel Akpeyi says the whole team must prepare for Mohammed Salah, not just the goalkeepers.

Salah will the Pharaohs’ attack against the Super Eagles in Group opening game at the ongoing CAF African Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

The Liverpool forward has scored over 20 goals in all competitions for the Kops this season and he’s in the final three for FIFA’s 2021 the best award.

Asked about the goalkeepers planning to stop the forward, Akpeyi said: “It not just about the goalkeepers, but the whole team. The goalkeeping department are working well at the moment, but the whole team have to do the same.”

“It’s not just him, they have other good players, so everyone must work hard to stop them “. He said in a chat with with brila.net.
