Thomas Tuchel could face Chelsea in UCL semis after Bayern Munich move

Former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel could face the London club in the Champions League semifinal after becoming the new Bayern Munich boss.

Earlier in the day we shared the news that the German champions have parted ways with Julian Nagelsmann.

A former statement is said to be made on Friday where the club will confirm the sacking of Julian Nagelsmann and announce the signing of Thomas Tuchel.

According to Fabrizo Romano, Thomas Tuchel is said to have signed a 2.5-year contract, both parties are on the same page and there is no issue.

This means Thomas Tuchel could face Chelsea with Bayern Munich should both clubs win their quarterfinal games.

Chelsea will face the defending champions, Real Madrid, while Bayern Munich also have to beat Manchester City.

Should both teams win their quarterfinal games, a semifinal final clash between Graham Potter’s Chelsea, and Thomas Tuchel’s Bayern Munich will be a mouth-watering clash.
