President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Saturday begin a three-state tour of Borno, Bauchi, and Lagos, combining official duties, social functions, and condolence visits ahead of the year-end holidays in Lagos.

According to a statement on Friday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President will first visit Borno State, where he is scheduled to commission federal and state projects executed under Governor Babagana Zulum’s administration in collaboration with the Federal Government.

While in Maiduguri, Tinubu will also attend the wedding of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Borno State Governor and Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, and his bride, Hadiza Kam Salem.

From Borno, the President will proceed to Bauchi State to pay a condolence visit to the state government and the family of the late Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, the revered Islamic scholar and leader of the Tijjaniyya Muslim Brotherhood, who passed away on November 27.

After Bauchi, President Tinubu will return to Lagos to spend the end-of-year holidays. He is expected to participate in several high-profile engagements, including serving as guest of honour at the annual Eyo Festival on December 27 at Tafawa Balewa Square.

The festival will celebrate notable personalities, including President Tinubu’s mother, Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, as well as former Lagos State governors Alhaji Lateef Jakande and Chief Michael Otedola.
