Popular TikToker, Peller, has broken his silence following his arrest and detention by the Lagos State Police Command over an attempted suicide and reckless driving incident.
In a video statement, Peller apologised to Nigerians, saying, “I am sorry, Nigerians. Please, I’m sorry. I will never do that again. I’m very sorry, please. For now, I am on medication. Once I am done with my medication, I will be online.”
The incident has been linked to his recent breakup with his girlfriend, Jarvis, who cited Peller’s struggles with emotional regulation as a key reason for ending the relationship.

The Lagos State Police confirmed his arrest, noting that his actions constituted a deliberate attempt to take his life and posed serious danger to other road users.
The incident occurred on Sunday, December 14, 2025, when Peller allegedly drove recklessly along the Lekki-Epe Expressway while live-streaming the event on social media, resulting in a road crash.
The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation, and Peller is expected to face charges in court.
Commissioner of Police, Olohundare Jimoh, warned social media influencers and content creators against promoting reckless behavior online, stressing that lawlessness would not be tolerated.
