Transfer: Arsenal just playing games over Folarin Balogun’s future

Arsenal are just playing games over the future of Relms Loanee, Folarin Balogun.

The English club had signifield move to place the hot shot striker in the transfer market in a bid to raise more funds.

But Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is still undecided on the future of Reims loanee.

Balogun is the leading scorer in France’s top division, with 14 goals to his name. He is one ahead of Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe and former Arsenal skipper Alexandre Lacazette.

Balogun is set to return to the Emirates in the summer with his value having rocketed in recent months. But The Sun reports Arteta is unsure of what to do with the 21-year-old.

Arsenal have Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah as the two main striker options. Arteta will have to decide if there is space for a third centre-forward in his squad.

Balogun still has two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract at the Emirates, so there is no rush to sell.

The report says the Gunners could cash in on Balogun, as there will be plenty of interest in his signature. Reims are claimed to have tried to make the deal permanent in January but Arsenal rejected the proposal.
