Transfer: Arsenal to go to £100m for West Ham captain Rice

Arsenal are ready to make an improved offer of £100 million for Declan Rice in the coming days.

The Gunners saw their first bid rejected by West Ham United for the defensive midfielder.

However, The Mail states that Mikel Arteta is determined to get his man and will bid again.

The Gunners do have to be wary, as Manchester City are also being linked to Rice.

The England international appears to prefer a move to Arsenal, with previous links to Chelsea and Manchester United dying down.

Arsenal’s offer of £80 million plus an extra £10 million was turned down by West Ham.
