Chelsea are making a shocking move for Tottenham’s main man Harry Kane.
Christian Falk, Head of Football for German outlet BILD, said that the Blues are keen on signing Kane from Tottenham.
He, however, said that the Blues are aware a deal for the England international would be very difficult.
He added that Spurs would rather sell to a club abroad should the England star not pen a new deal at the club.
“TRUE. Harry Kane is very interesting for Chelsea. but the club believes that @SpursOfficial would prefer to sell Kane to a club like Bayern instead of to an English competitor if Kane won‘t sign a new contract at Tottenham,” he tweeted.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have confirmed that their 19-year-old Alvaro Fernandez has joined Preston North End on loan for the season.
The wing-back is seen as a big prospect at Manchester United and this move should give him some more game time.
The youngster told the club’s website: “I’m very happy, and I want to start with this club as soon as possible.
“I’ve spoken to the manager about the football, it’s so good. I like his plans for the season so I want to start.”
