Transfer: Flying Eagles forward joins Croatian club

Flying Eagles forward, Salim Fago Lawal has sealed a transfer to Croatian club, Istra 1961.

Istra and his Nigerian club, Mavlon FC have reached an agreement on the move.

According to a report in SCORENigeria, Fago is waiting for his entry visa to travel to his new base.

Lawal is expected to pen a long-term contract with his club.

The young striker featured in all of the Flying Eagles’ five games at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina.

Istra 1961 are based in Pula and finished fifth in the Croatian top league this past season.
