Transfer: Koulibaly finally gets EPL move, to receive £160,000 weekly at Chelsea – Bridge

Date:

Napoli defender, Kalidou Koulibaly, has finally gotten his Premier League move.

Koulibaly is all set to join Chelsea from Napoli on a five-year deal.

This claim was made by respected Sky Sports journalist, Michael Bridge.

Bridge disclosed this on The Transfer Show News while speaking on Koulibaly’s situation.

He said the Senegalese international would receive a £160,000 a week salary at Chelsea and his transfer deal from Napoli to Chelsea is expected to close today.

“The deal is expected to be closed today with a fee between £32-33.7million, that is according to our colleagues in Sky in Italy,” Bridge said.

“It has been an interesting one. He is expected to be offered a five-year contract worth £160,000 a week, plus bonuses.

“But the key is here, this is a player who has been linked with Premier League clubs for some time. I think Maurizio Sarri actually wanted him at Chelsea a few years back, but Napoli held firm for quite some time.

“However, he has one year left on his contract and it seems Napoli gets good money and Koulibaly finally gets his Premier League dream.”
