Transfer: Neymar takes decision on PSG after Messi’s departure Ligue 1 club

Date:

Paris Saint-Germain forward, Neymar is determined to remain at the club, even if close friend, Lionel Messi leaves as a free agent this summer, L’Equipe reports.

Neymar has a contract until June 2027 with PSG and intends to honour it.

The Brazilian became the most expensive player ever when he completed a €222 million (£197m/$237m) transfer from Barcelona in 2017.

Neymar wants to continue at Parc des Princes for the foreseeable future despite enduring more injury struggles in the current campaign.

He is eager to help deliver long-awaited European glory to PSG and wants to win over his critics.

However, Messi might be on the move after this campaign, when his deal expires in June.
