Arsenal flop, Nicolas Pepe, is set for a shock move to join the club’s Premier League rival Leicester City.
Pepe is wanted by Leicester City this summer, according to Media Foot.
The Ivory Coast international had looked set to join French Ligue 1 club Nice on loan this summer after falling down the pecking order in Mikel Arteta’s squad.
But Leicester could hijack the move by bringing Pepe to the King Power Stadium as they look to overcome their poor start to the new campaign.
Pepe joined Arsenal from Lille for £72 million on a five-year contract (Transfermarkt) in 2019, but he has been a monumental flop.
The 27-year-old winger has scored just 27 goals in 112 appearances for the Gunners and has fallen down Arteta’s pecking order for attacking options.
