Transfer: Nigerian appointed head coach of Switzerland club

Adeyemi Anthony Adedeji has been appointed head coach of Switzerland third division club, FC Witikon.

Adedeji recently quit another Swiss club, FC Gossau on mutual consent.

The former Stationery Stores player previously had coaching stints with FC Dubendorf and FC Kloten Frauen.

The 37-year-old, who has a UEFA B coaching license, once represented Nigeria at the U-17 and U-2O level.

He won the 1998 FA Cup with Wikki Tourists of Bauchi.

A number of former Nigerian internationals, including Sunday Oliseh and Ndubuisi Egbo, have managed clubs in Europe in the past.
