Barcelona forward Asisat Oshoala has made a high-profile move to the United States, as she undergoes medical examinations and secures her contract with a National Womenโs Soccer League (NWSL) team.
Oshoala signed a two-year contract with the option of another year.
Bay FC paid Barcelona Femeni โฌ150m to secure her services.

Over the course of five years with Barcelona, from February 2019 to January 2024, the 29-year-old ย Oshoala has impressed by scoring 107 goals in 149 appearances.
She became the first African woman to score in the Champions League final in 2019.
The striker was the first African woman to win the UEFA Champions League final in 2021.
