Transfer: Tottenham speed up bid, meet Gift Orban’s representatives

Tottenham Hotspur are still closely tracking Gift Orban, have spoken to the player’s representatives but they are yet to submit a formal bid for the Gent striker, according to top transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

This comes as another Premier League club Fulham have joined the chase for the explosive striker.

Italian transfer guru Romano confirmed in his podcast that Tottenham absolutely want to make more new signings during the closing weeks of the transfer window and a striker is a priority following the departure of Harry Kane.

He said Spurs are closely following Orban’s performance, but they have not yet made an official offer.

Also, Spurs have shown interest in Jonathan David, but the 60 Million Euros price of the Canada international striker from Lille will be too expensive for the London club.

Several media outlets have now reported that another London club, Fulham, will open talks with Gent for Gift Orban.

Fulham have lost striker Aleksandar Mitrovic to the Saudi Arabian Exodus and want to attract a replacement as soon as possible.

Gift Orban is one of the two players they are considering in this regard.
