Transfer window: Barcelona accept dropping price for Aubameyang departure

Chelsea are a step closer to signing Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

According to Sport, Chelsea have made a final offer to Barcelona for Aubameyang.

The English club is now offering 20 million euros upfront for the striker and have taken the variables out of the proposal.

Barça are looking at it favourably but will continue to push for a little more. They hoped to get 30 million euros for the player but realise that Chelsea will not pay so much.

Since the operation for Memphis with Juventus has been slow, the transfer of Aubameyang is the key to signing Jules Koundé.

Approximately €18 million is needed to sign the defender and the sale of the striker would fully guarantee it and also leave some money to spare.
