Transfer window: Conte wants Tottenham to sell seven senior players

Tottenham boss, Antonio Conte, has told club chiefs he’d like to see seven players offloaded.

On Monday, Conte held a meeting over the club’s summer recruitment with technical director Fabio Paratici, where he identified the players deemed surplus to requirements.

According to the Daily Mail, there were plenty of names who fell into the culling category.

The report states that Tanguy Ndombele, Davinson Sanchez, Harry Winks, Giovani Lo Celso, Steven Bergwijn, Sergio Reguilon and Joe Rodon all face uncertain futures and could well be moved on this summer. The Spurs septet are set to be part of a significant squad overhaul this summer as Conte enters his first transfer window at the helm.

Heading into the window, it was widely understood Tottenham had planned to strengthen in several areas. These included acquiring a new goalkeeper, centre back, wing back, central midfielder and striker.
