U-17 World Cup: Flamingos leave Turkey for India

Nigeria’s Flamingos will leave Kocaeli, Turkey, on Thursday (today) for India to continue their preparation ahead of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.

The Bankole Olowookere’s side wrapped up their 10-day training tour in Turkey on Wednesday night.

“About yesterday’s evening, our Flamingos had the last training of its 10-day camp in Kocaeli, Turkey before heading to India later today,” reads a tweet on the Super Falcons Twitter handle.

The Nigerian girls will begin their campaign against Germany next week Tuesday in Goa.

Chile and New Zealand are the other teams in the group.

Tanzania and Morocco are the two other African representatives in the biennial competition.

The competition will run between October 11 to October 30th in India.
