U-20 AFCON: Flying Eagles coach, Bosso seeks redemption against Tunisia

Flying Eagles head coach, Ladan Bosso is determined to see his side claim bronze medal at the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

The Nigerian boys will take on Tunisia in the third-place match at the Cairo International Stadium on Friday (today).

The seven-time champions hopes of winning eighth title was dashed by Gambia in the semi-final.

Finishing the competition on a positive note is now their target as they battle the North Africans.

Bosso once again expressed disappointment with the defeat to Gambia but is keen for his players to return home with a good vibe.
“It was unfortunate we lost the semifinals and now we will play the third place match,” Bosso was quoted by CAFonline.

“The third place is as good as the final. We believe if we get it right we will take something home and I believe we can put smiles on the faces of football loving Nigerians.”
