U-23 Eagles head coach, Salisu Yusuf has called up 10 foreign-based players to beef up the team ahead of the Africa U-23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Tanzania.
Forward Sunusi Ibrahim, who plays for Major League Soccer side, Montreal Impact, tops the list of the foreign stars.
Former Flying Eagles winger, Success Makanjuola now in the books of Spanish Segunda Division club, Leganes and Sirens of Malta striker, Promise David are also among the new invitees.
Kwara United defender Chris Nwaeze and midfielder Morice Chukwu from Rivers United will also join up with the squad after their club’s international engagements.
The U-23 Eagles started preparation for the game on Monday.
The team will fly to Tanzania on Wednesday for the first leg clash which will hold next weekend.
The reverse fixture is billed for the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan on October 29.
The U-23 AFCON will also serve as a qualifying series for the 2024 Olympic Games to be hosted by Paris.
