Veteran Journalist’s Son Stars In Sample Of VicTony’s Soweto

Veteran journalist and broadcaster, Sam O’Femi Fasetire’s first son, Sunny, has featured in the lead role of a video cover for VicTony’s hit song, Soweto.

The sampled video, which has gone viral since its release on Good Friday, features Sunny Fasetire as the centre of attraction on a social outing with his colleagues.

He stars alongside his course mates in year one National Diploma of Performance Arts at PEFTI Film Institute, Isolo, Lagos.

The institute is owned by Wale Adenuga, a movie production veteran responsible for iconic works like Papa Ajasco, Binta And Friends, Ikebe Super, This Life and Super Story.

Sunny and his classmates are hoping to get their breakthrough into the nitty-gritty of Nigerian showbusiness and Nollywood through lectures and practicals at Adenuga’s institution.

Their adventure has apparently entered another gear, following the success of their Soweto video, which was part of their practical assessment in a course on video production.
