The Chairman of the Delta State Sports Commission, Mr. Onoriode Oborevwori has described the promotion of Warri Wolves to the elite Nigeria Professional Football League NPFL, as the handiwork of God.

An elated Mr. Oborevwori who spoke to newsmen after the grueling encounter which saw Warri Wolves defeat Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso 2-1 in the last group game of the Southern Conference said the victory has brought joy to millions of Deltans as the state had waited for four years to finally return to the elite division.

He thanked Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his immense support and belief in the project of returning Warri Wolves to the NPFL while assuring the governor and Deltans that the club would work hard to remain at the elite division.

Mr. Oborevwori also thanked the management and players of Warri Wolves for giving their all to ensure the dreams and aspirations of Deltans was finally achieved, stressing that more was now expected from them as the NPFL was a toug
