Worldcup playoff: Ademola Lookman To Arrive Super Eagles Camp Today

following the withdrawals of key players Wilfred Ndidi and goalkeeper Maduka Okoye from the squad due to injury and sickness, the Super Eagles have received a bit of cheering news that Leicester City forward Ademola Lookman will finally join the squad in time for the World Cup playoffs against Ghana.

Lookman was a major doubt for the playoffs after he suffered an injury in action for Premier League club Leicester City.

Meanwhile, Super Eagles spokesman Babafemi Raji said Lookman will join the team Wednesday. and likely to train in the evening.

“He will join the rest of the team in time for our departure to Ghana Thursday,” Raji said.

Lookman is in line to make his Super Eagles debut after he was recently cleared by FIFA to change international allegiance after he previously represented England, where he was born.
