2022 Beach Soccer: Super Sand Eagles draw Mozambique, Malawi, Morocco in Group A

Nigeria’s Super Sand Eagles have been drawn with hosts Mozambique, Morocco and debutants Malawi in the Group A of the 2022 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations.

The draw ceremony for the biennial competition took place in Maputo, Mozambique on Friday.

The Super Sand Eagles are favourites to qualify from the group due to their pedigree and past records.

The Eagles were finalists in 2016 and 2018 on home soil. They were also bronze medalists in 2015.

Defending champions, Senegal will face Uganda, Madagascar and Egypt in Group B.

Mozambique will host the competition from 21-28 October.

The tournament will take place in the town of Vilankulo, known for its seaside resort and picturesque landscape, an enriching tourist spot.
