According to Italian journalist Matteo Moretto, AC Milan are set to pay Villarreal €1.5m (approximately N2.1 billion in Nigerian currency) as bonuses in fulfillment of the terms between both clubs when Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze joined the Rossoneri last summer.
However, the Yellow Submarine will only be entitled to the said amount if the electric winger is not sold by the seven-time European champions in the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old joined the Italian giants last July on a deal worth €20m plus €8m add ons but hasn’t hit the ground running at the club.
