Adeboye Saddened Over Death Of Chairman House Committee On Sports, Ekene Adams

Special Assistant on grassroots sports development, to honorable minister of sport’s, Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka, has said, he is deeply Saddened and shocked over the death of Ekene Adams, whom he described as a grossly dedicated and hard working man, saying, the nation will miss him greatly.

Adeboye, further said, a great man has been lost and we just have to remember him for the good works he has done and the good legacy he has left behind.

“It’s quite sad, we lost a good and heavily dedicated man to the cold hands of death at a very young age, we can’t question God, but we will always remember him, for the great works he has done and the legacy he left behind ” he said.

“The entire sporting world will miss him and my sincere condolences goes to his family and loved ones, and I pray the almighty God gives them the fortitude to bear this huge loss,” he added.

Adams, who served as the Chairman of the House Committee on Sports, died on Tuesday morning at the age of 39.

According to reports, he had battled ill-health in recent times.
