Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are currently leading the race to sign Brazilian wonderkid Endrick, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Endrick, 16, has emerged as one of the most exciting talents in world football and Europe’s elite are all vying for his signature.
Despite his age, he’s been part of the Palmeiras squad that became champions of Brazil’s top league (Série A) with Endrick contributing three goals and one assist in only 180 minutes of league action this season, having broken into the first-team squad in the latter stages of the league.
On top of that, he’s got six goals in seven games for Palmerias’s U20 side in the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior and he scored in the final as they ran out 4-0 winners.
Having built up a reputation in South America, Europe’s elite are already closing in on the young forward and the latest report from Romano claims that the trio of Chelsea, Madrid and PSG are ahead of every other club interested.
However, according to his father Douglas, nothing has been decided as of yet.
“There’s nothing decided for Real Madrid or any other club. We’ve no preference yet”
“We’ll decide in the next months, the club that will pay what Palmeiras want and show us the best technical project for Endrick, will sign the boy”.
Also reported is that there’s been no official bids to Palmeiras yet – but it will happen soon.
His release clause stands at €60m and he would join in 2024 – as he can’t leave Brazil before turning 18.
