Egypt based Adejumo Peter Smat has issued a come get me call to coach Aliyu Zubairu of the national U20 side, Flying Eagles and the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.
Adejumo, who has been in blistering form at his modest clubside, El Dabaa FC of Egypt, is hoping he gets the look in from national team selectors to feature for the Flying Eagles team which is preparing for the U20 Africa cup of Nations tournament to be hosted by Cote d’Ivoire from April 26 to May 18 this year.
The defensive midfielder helped El Dabaa step up by securing promotion to the top tier and are in pole position for another major leap to the second division.
Casimero as he is called by his numerous fans and admirers is a hard working modern box -box defensive midfielder who can also play in the offensive position.
“I can’t wait to be invited to the Flying Eagles to prove my mettle, Adejumo told SPORTSDAY exclusively.
“A call up is all I need and the rest will be history.
“I know I have all it takes to contribute immensely to the team and command a regular shirt in the squad”, he said.
Meanwhile, he scored a sublime goal yesterday through his trademark free – kick against Al Helal of Matrouha, Egypt in a Youth cup game which his team won 3-2.
Adejumo you would also recall was named the best young player in Egypt 3rd division last season which buttresses his quality.
He is currently being chased by many top clubs in Europe and even Premier sides in Egypt we are told.
If negotiations go well, the former DS Football Club player may be playing in a different club come next season.
