The Federal Ministry of Sports Development has rescheduled the zonal elimination for the 8th National Youth Games to August 28th through September 1st.
The events will take place across the six geo-political zones of the country.
This new date was set after top officials from the Federal Ministry of Sports Development returned from the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The original schedule was postponed due to nationwide protests that occurred from August 1st to 10th, 2024.
The states are expected to participate in the following team sports events: Baseball, Basketball, Cricket, Hockey, Football, Handball, Volleyball, and Rugby.
