Former Chelsea boss, Frank Lampard, is open to returning to Chelsea as a caretaker manager.
Lampard has been linked with a return to Chelsea following the exit of Graham Potter.
However, according to The Times, Chelsea are considering appointing Lampard on an interim basis until the end of the season and the former England midfielder is said to be open to coming back to Stamford Bridge until the end of the season.
Lampard was initially appointed as Chelsea’s manager back in 2019.
The 44-year-old guided the Blues to a top-four finish and to the FA Cup final in his first season in charge.
