Incoming Manchester United manager, Erik Ten Hag, will give the club his approval to sell or keep two top stars at the club this summer.

According to the Sun, Man United will delay contract decisions over Luke Shaw and Fred with Ten Hag to have final say on their futures.

Shaw’s current contract with Man United will expire in 2023 with the Red Devils holding the option to extend that by a further year.

The England defender has endured a disappointing campaign at Old Trafford that came to an end through injury in April.

Fred, meanwhile, has one year left on his current deal with the option of a further 12 months but Man United would be more willing to listen to offers for the Brazilian at the right price.

Recall that Man United appointed Ten Hag as their new permanent manager last month.

The Dutchman will replace interim manager, Ralf Rangnick at the end of the season.
