Golden Eaglets To Go On Break For General Election

Five times world champions, Golden Eaglets will leave their training camp in Abuja for their different destinations due to the General Elections in the country.

The Nigerian Presidential polls will take place on 25th February which set the ball rolling for the country’s General Elections.

Coach Nduka Ugbade has been putting his team through their phases ahead of the U17 AFCON in Algeria in April.

The Eaglets have played test games against academies to prepare them for the task ahead.

They are drawn in Group B along with South Africa, Morocco and Zambia.

It was further gathered that handlers of these youngsters have been charged to conduct private MRI age test for their wards before they break camp.

The NFF have pegged Grade 4 as the highest of the age test admissible in the team.
