LSFA Set To Organize One Day Training/Mentorship Program For Girls In Football

Lagos state Football Association, LSFA through it’s Female Football Development Committee, is set to champion and organise a one -day training/mentorship program for girls in football in the state.

The event which will be held at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, formerly known as Onikan stadium, with the theme: “It’s Time For Girls”, will hold on Saturday, August 10, 2024, between the hours of 9am -5pm.

The novel initiative in the anals of female football in Lagos state and Nigeria at large is sponsored by Top Sport Management and Alert Group.

Speaking to us exclusively concerning the program, Ibidoyin Aina, a top member of the female football development committee in Lagos state cum Lawyer, said that all is now set for a hitch-free program.

“We are ready for the one day training/mentorship program for our girl child in football.

“We have put in all the hard work which we are expecting a very successful event

“It’s going to be highly educative, interactive and engaging. We advise parents to bring their girl children, female footballers and all women to attend”, she concluded.

Hajj Liameed Gafar led LSFA has come up with so many remarkable initiatives since coming on board following the impeachment of their former Chairman, Ogbeni, Oki Fouad.

They recently successfully organised Ex-international cup competition which had notable past footballers adopting, mentoring and coaching teams during the tournament.

There is also the partnership with the National Institute for Sports (NIS) to have their coaches trained under their train the trainers initiative program amongst others.
