Eagles of Mali on Friday night sent a warning signal to the Super Eagles of Nigeria following their 2-0 win over Mauritania.
Nigeria had earlier in the day beat rival Ghana 2-1 in Marrakech, Morocco.
Mali faced Mauritania later in the night recorded a comfortable 2-0 win and declared readiness for the Nigeria tie.

Modibo Sagnan netted the opening goal in the first half before El Bilal Toure added the second goal to seal the game.
Mali will confront Nigeria in Marrakech on Tuesday to complete the first International window of 2024.
